The CBSE announced the date sheet for CBSE class 10 examinations . The class 10 examination is to kick start from 2 March 2013 and end on 15 March 2013.CBSE class 10 examinations flag off with Painting and end with Home Science on 15 March 2013.

Over 12 lakh students appeared on CBSE 10 examination. The examination was  conducted at a total number of 300 schools and 78 centers.

The board conducts final examinations every spring for All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) for Class 10 and 12.The board also annually conducts the AIEEE exam for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering and architecture in numerous colleges spread over India.It also conducts AIPMT (All India Pre medical Test) for admission to major medical colleges in India.On 28 May 2012, CBSE declared class 12th results.80% students have cleared the examination in 2012.. The CBSE Examinations results for the year 2013 is likely to be announced in the last week of May.
