For PAT-2013 (BAMS/BNYS/B.Pharm(Ay.)) Test will be held ONLY IN VARANASI.

All outstation (Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad) have been cancelled. 

All candidates will be allotted VARANASI Center only.

All the applicants of UET/PET & Special Courses of study are advised to send the final printout of the filled up online application form (after pasting photograph and putting signature in original) by registered post/courier to the Controller of Examinations, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005, so as to reach their latest by. Last Date for Online Application & fee submission will remain unchanged i.e  for Payment by challan and  for Online Payment).

The Banaras Hindu University shall conduct Undergraduate Entrance Tests, hereinafter called UET, during 3rd– 4th

week of May, 2013 for admission to various Undergraduate Courses as given hereunder for the Session 2013-2014. 

Admissions will be made according to merit in the UET, subject to fulfilling of eligibility requirements.

Banaras Hindu University (commonly referred to as BHU) is a public central university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1916 by Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya. 
The Banaras Hindu University Library system was established from a collection donated by Prof. P.K. Telang in the memory of his father Justice Kashinath Trimbak Telang in 1917. The collection was housed in the Telang Hall of the Central Hindu College, Kamachha.
BHU is organised into 4 institutes and 14 faculties (streams) and more than 140 departments. Total student enrolment at the university exceeds 20,000, and includes students from over 34 nations. It has over 60 hostels for resident students.The University is making its mark at the national and international levels in a number of frontier areas of Science, Social Science, Technology, Medicine and Agriculture etc.

Banaras Hindu University conducts national level undergraduate (UET) and postgraduate (PET) entrance tests usually during May–June for admission. Admissions are done according to merit in the entrance tests, subject to fulfilling of other eligibility requirements.
