SSC (Staff Selection Commission) is an Indian organisation to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices.

This commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training which consists of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations.

To conduct examinations and/or interviews to make recruitment to Group “B” and Group “C” posts for the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.

The Staff Selection Commission has its Headquarter at New Delhi. At present, there are seven Regional Offices at Allahabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore and two Sub-Regional Offices at Raipur and Chandigarh.

Eligibility

Graduate degree from the reputed university as per the SSC rules and regulations,
Should be graduate in statistics, Mathematics, and commerce subjects for the posts of statistical investigator Gr. II.,
Should have Computer Knowledge,
Age should be 18-32,
